Last week I spent the day with a few close friends and gossiped over pizza and wine. Yes, grown men gossip too. I would even go so far as to say sometimes they like to gossip more than the females! (Hey, even Drake agrees). For the occasion I stuck with a foolproof California cool look: double denim. It always works looks effortless. Pair with heels for a more chic feel.

We are almost done with summer now, and I've been slowly collecting my fall staples. This distressed denim jacket from Missguided is a new wardrobe essential. I love how oversized it is, perfect to drape over the shoulders which is ideal for the type of winters we get here. Expect a lot more double denim looks with this piece, sorry I'm not sorry.
