stairway to nowhere

wore this for a quick lunch with my best friend the other day. i know youve seen me in these boots time and time again, but i cant help it. it literally goes with everything. i never realized how essential basic flat boots are until i purchased these. now i want to fill all the holes in my closet with basic classic things i know i need. i tend to get drawn to the more unusual one time pieces, things i wear once then sell or donate to goodwill. things that get a lot of attention, but then you forget about them. kind of a wasteful way of shopping i suppose. so from now on, im making a conscious effort to think twice about the pieces i buy, and not be so quick to skip over the basic things.
